NEWS FROM DSA |
| DSA in the Media The Republicans efforts to rebrand the Democrats as socialists probably didn't help them very much; but it generated a fair amount of media interest in us. Articles in Business Week, The Christian Science Monitor, The Huffington Post, and the Washington Independent quoted us directly. Business Week's article was the most extensive, going beyond the Republican nonsense and asking what socialism is all about. Business Week is even conducting one of those unscientific polls on socialism as a dirty word. You vote from their web site. Last I checked our side was still ahead. And if you didn't check out the link to the DSA slide show about single payer health care and "the public option" on YouTube you can still check it out by clicking HERE. If you have your own website or blog be sure to post a link to the slide show and also to DSA's website on your site if you have not already done so. It will bring more people to your site and to ours. And here's a link to DSA Vice-chair Joe Schwartz's In These Times article on nationalizing the banks.
